Hello and welcome to the noisy cookie. I started this blog to keep track of the things that are going on with us, as well as the things that I read and see and want to remember. There will be a lot about life with my guys, J & CS:

Other things you may read about here will follow along with whatever my attention span is watching that day. I read a million blogs, mostly about sustainable design, crafting, cooking, photography and funny women who usually happen to be parents. And given that I live in a land that is foreign to me, travel is something I think about a lot. We run toward the computer nerd side of the spectrum around here, so don't be surprised if gadgets and techy stuff show up occasionally. And there might be some (bleeding heart, liberal) politics. I am going to try to keep a running list of new recipes that I have tried and new books that I have read (alone or with the toddler) on the sidebar. I am hoping that by keeping an online journal, beyond the obvious documentation of the life we are living, I will find focus as I write about the things that are going on around me or inspire me in some way. Maybe you will find some things that are interesting to you, and in any event, I am glad that you have stopped by.
